Your Library Card
| It's easy to get a library card. Any resident of Virginia, age five and older, may get a free library card that can be used at any Roanoke Area Public Library. You will need two pieces of identification that have your name and current address. A parent's or guardian's signature is required for children younger than age 13. | |
| Go to any public library branch location in Roanoke, Roanoke County, Salem, or Botetourt County, fill out a simple form, and your card can be issued right away. You can also use the link below to print out a library card application that can be filled out and brought in with you to speed up the card application process. |
