When driving in the City of Roanoke for business or pleasure, take a moment to plan ahead so you know where to park when you get there. Do you want to locate an on-street parking place for short term parking or do you want the convenience of using a lot or garage near your destination for longer term parking? There are approximately 670 on-street parking spaces and over 4,000 off-street parking spaces in Downtown Roanoke alone as well as numerous off-street privately and publically owned lots. Every visit to Roanoke should be enjoyable, so please plan ahead for parking. Parking is Free in PARK Roanoke garages or lots on Saturdays until 4:00 p.m. and on Sundays.

Parking enforcement helps to ensure frequent turnover of on-street spaces in order to manage short term parking and accessibility needed for residents, visitors, shoppers, clients, and workers to conduct business, work, enjoy entertainment, shop or participate in other activities.
