To obtain a library card patrons must provide a picture ID and a proof of current address. If your photo ID also shows your current address you can get a library card! If does not you'll need to provide another item that includes your name and current address.
Acceptable forms of identification include:
Medicaid or other social services documentation
Other family members already in the library card database
Utility or other bill
Children may obtain a library card, after completion of an application, with 1 item of identification presented as proof of a current address; this does not need to be a photo ID. A child under the age of 13 needs the presence and signature of a parent/legal guardian to get a library card.
People living in temporary living situations (such as a hotel or shelter) will need to register for a temporary card. Applying for a temporary card requires identification that shows the patron's name and a temporary local address, such as a letter from a hotel or motel. These borrowers are limited to 2 items at a time.
