Comprehensive Study Final Report

.
The city of Roanoke began a comprehensive study of its public library system with a public meeting on May 25, 2004 at 6 p.m. in the Jefferson Center’s Fitzpatrick Hall. The public meeting, facilitated by study consultants Hidell Katz McConnell, outlined trends, services and programs implemented by contemporary library systems across the country. The purpose of the presentation was to present the community with a picture of what the future library system could look like—an anchor for downtown revitalization and cultural institution. A final report has now been created and the entire contents of that report is listed below. To view the document, click on the blue links to load each section individually from the table of contents outline. We decided to break the report up into sections for ease of use as well as to reduce the download time for dial-up internet users. NOTE: The free is needed in order to view the final report documents.
