Receive and dispatch all 911 calls for service originating within the City of Roanoke, answer non-emergency calls for service, and handle all radio communications from Police, Fire, and EMS Personnel. Coordinate with other jurisdictions on significant events that may affect the City, its citizens, and its interest's.
Weekends, Holidays, and after 5:00 P.M. everyday we handle emergency calls for the Child Abuse Hotline, Public Works and numerous other city departments. | |
