The City of Roanoke Treasurer's Office is committed to providing quality service to the citizens and to maintaining highest accountability of local and state revenue collections.

Responsibility

Collection of all taxes and revenues for the City, Cash Management, and State Tax Collection.

The 2013 Personal Property Statements have mailed. The deadline is Friday, May 31, 2013. Payment can be made in the Treasurer's Office, drop boxes (after April 22 at the libraries), and online. A fee may apply to online payments and payments made by card at the Treasurer's Office. FAILURE TO RECEIVE A BILL CANNOT BE USED TO WAIVE PENALTIES OR FEES.

The drop boxes located at the Williamson Road and Jackson Park Libraries will be available for payment dropoff from April 22 through the Personal Property Deadline on May 31. In addition to Personal Property, any city payment may be dropped into the boxes during this time. Please do not include cash.

The Treasurer's Office now accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover at all teller stations. A 2.45% convenience fee is applied to all tax payments paid in person in the Treasurer's Office.
