Responsibility
Established in 1985, Employee Health Services provides comprehensive health care to City of Roanoke employees and eligible spouses. It is utilized as a convenient method to provide low to no cost medical services. With no interaction between the clinic and insurance companies, our highly trained staff is able to make employees our first priority. It is staffed by a Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Director, and Medical Office Assistant.
Employee Health Services provides the following services:

- Public safety physicals
- New hire physicals
- Sick and medical appointments
- Immunizations
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Laboratory services
- Wellness programming
- Health promotion
- Direct referrals to outside doctors, specialists, clinics and chronic disease programs
