The eTRAKiT permitting system is now available for viewing daily inspection schedules, searching permits, and resubmitting plans for review on cases where a number has been assigned to the project.
We are hosting open house sessions for contractors every Wednesday morning from 8:30-10:30 in the 2nd Street Planning Studio (1st Floor Municipal Building near the Permit Center). These sessions are informal drop in during those hours. Contractors will receive passwords and instructions for using eTRAKiT.
When fully functional (expected by January, 2017), most permits can be applied for and approved through eTRAKiT. If you are experiencing issues with eTRAKiT, contact the Permit Center at (540) 853-1090. For guidance on submitting plans via eTRAKiT or email see our Electronic Plan Submission guidelines.
