Links to Roanoke's Neighborhood Organizations and Watch Groups

There are several easy ways to determine if the address where you reside or do business from is within an existing neighborhood organization or crime watch group boundary:  

  1. The map below shows the locations and boundaries of the various neighborhood organizations and neighborhood watch groups across the city, By entering your address in the search box, you can determine if your property falls within the boundaries of an existing neighborhood organization or crime watch group as the area will become shaded in a different color with the name of the organization noted.   
  2. Visit the city's GIS site, and enter your street address in the 'Search' tab and press 'Search' to view your property.  Under the 'Map Layers' tab, open the 'Planning and Zoning Layer' and place a check in the 'Neighborhood Organization' box. If your property falls within the boundaries of an existing neighborhood organization or crime watch group, the area will become shaded in a different color with the name of the organization noted. 
  3. Once you have determined the name of the neighborhood organization or crime watch group you are looking for, check out the listing of the active neighborhood organizations and watch groups (PDF) across the city that includes their contact and meeting information. Also available for your convenience is a map showing the locations and boundaries of the city's neighborhood organizations and watch groups.
